Thanksgiving Turkey Goodness

Awwwwwww, it is going to be a great week. Last Saturday was Fall Ball. Nataleigh, my wonderful girlfriend, and I had such a fun time

Fun time at Fall Ball

dressing up. Free food and drink. Not to mention the spring floor. Also, track season officially started for me today. I had about a two and a half hour practice today. Met the new freshman throwers, visited with old friends, and tossed a med ball at a wall, not to mention weight lifting of course. Nothing wrong with that right? Now, that all said, football is my future. Like everyone here, all I want to do is help other people with their life endeavors.  I want to teach youth why self-discipline, team work, and courage are needed in this world. Our nation is changing and we need leaders. Like our military in WWII, I believe that the best leaders are those who are or have participated in sport. I have a passion for teaching and I have talent in coaching. To me, the two are very synonymous. There is no difference between and football coach and a physics professor. Both went to a college to hone their skills and are teaching important lessons to students who want to learn. Wow, talk about a random tangent, haha. Moving on.

This week is Thanksgiving break. I have classes Monday-Wednesday (with practice each day) and then I get to relax. Unlike most, I am staying in Oregon for the holiday, but I will not be alone. My girlfriend of two and a half years has invited me to stay with her and her roommate. I will be “cooking” (quotes because I am not skilled in the art of cooking) the dinner while the two ladies are off doing things. WISH ME LUCK. The smallest bird we could find was 13 lbs, I do not know what to do with all the left overs.

The rest of this week is going to be relaxing in its own right. Today I only have one class and tomorrow I only have two. Track practice is proving to be a great workout for me, which is a nice change up.           I was sad when I heard about this

So guys, my comment section is being made fun of by the other comment sections because it is so small. Please please please post something so we can talk about it. I really want to hear what you guys have to say.
