Jaclyn Leeds

Hi! I’m Jaclyn and I am a first year day student. I am from Nashua, New Hampshire, and I just finished my undergrad studying psychology and music, and a slew of other disciplines – a liberal arts major to the core of my being. I love traveling. I spent half a year at the University of Cape Town in South Africa studying ethnomusicology and anthropology, two summers in Hong Kong interning for the non-profit Animals Asia Foundation, and most recently some time post-graduation volunteering on a wildlife preserve in the Negev Desert in Israel. I only first considered law school right before my senior year of college while interning with Animals Asia’s general counsel, and I am excited to be studying Animal Law at Lewis and Clark. I love living in Portland, and spend my “free time” playing with my new rescued dog Ebony, hiking with friends, baking vegan chocolate chip cookies, and just enjoying all that this city and this school have to offer.
